Antonio Veldsman
Founder & Creative Director
In October of 2019, Gas'tUp Fashion Agency was founded in Cape Town, South Africa by Antonio Veldsman and Luke Swanepoel; two friends with a shared vision to disrupt and pioneer the city's fashion culture. Since then, the company has been reworked and rebranded into what it is today.
Today, at the head of the operation is the sole owner and creative director, Antonio Veldsman. With a great passion for artistic design, streetwear culture and the community of brilliant young people that influence the streetwear movement, Veldsman has ambitions of strengthening Gastup’s roots in Cape Town, whilst becoming an integral part of the city's developing streetwear culture.
Producing clothing that embodies the ever so prevalent nonconformist counter-culture in its designs, Gastup aims to place its diverse audience at its core.
Gastup is a designer label that produces original, high-quality garments. Gastup apparel is made to attract attention with its wickedly striking designs whilst making you look good and feel great. We strive to empower individuals with our sustainable fashion, innovative thinking, and inspiring designs. Gastup apparel is designed with finesse and made with a purpose.

Our Misson at Gastup is to be an all-inclusive streetwear brand that aspires to provide our audience with the freedom to continuously develop their individually unique sense of style and identity.
We want to serve our audience with designs and styles they aspire to wear whilst continuing to be endlessly innovative in all we do.
With the potential to influence many, we at Gastup want to bring people together to create a shared community fueled by a passion for self-expression through designer streetwear. Our mission is to give people a sense of belonging and the freedom to express their authentic selves.
